OutsideView® 8.0 Desktop is a comprehensive host connectivity suite intended for installation onto individual PCs. It is used to access your remote hosts from your desktop.
Immediately Access Host Applications
Simply click on the OutsideView Desktop shortcut to automatically connect to all your host applications. The Desktop shortcut opens a saved "workspace" that recalls each session and provides their location. Each session is complete with customized toolbars, key mappings, display colors, font settings, macros, and more.
Session Shortcut Bar
A Session Shortcut Bar lets users move easily between sessions with a simple mouse click.
Customize and Save Toolbars According to Your Session
Say goodbye to cluttered workspaces. You can create a customized set of toolbars for each session such that each toolbar contains only the function keys, file transfer methods and the tools useful for that session and user. Use standard icons or your own custom icons.
Multiple Sessions to Multiple Hosts within the Same Workspace

OutsideView simultaneously connects numerous sessions with several hosts within the same workspace. It is not necessary to end a session before accessing a different host; with OutsideView it is easy to run multiple concurrent emulation sessions. OutsideView comes with Visual CommBasic, a graphical macro development environment that helps you create efficient macros to:
