Administrator

The first step in the renewal of your host application is to open a session in AppView Administrator and access the application screens. All fields in the application screen are automatically converted to objects - protected fields become labels, unprotected fields become edit boxes and function key labels become pushbuttons. If no further customization is performed, this is the same presentation that will be delivered to your users . Out of the box, your users receive a graphical interface to your unchanged host application which can now be easily navigated with a mouse.

Each screen to be customized will be tagged with a unique ID based on its screen structure and saved as a smart-screen template. This ID is automatically generated through a patented algorithm.

Within Administrator, you can also apply global customizations such as screen colors, keyboard mapping or add a corporate logo to all screens.
